Child Chemo House

supporting children and their family going through chemotherapy

Located in Port Island - Kobe, Japan, CCH aims to create a relaxing, home-like environment for children and their families receiving cancer treatment at nearby advanced medical institutions, such as Hyogo Prefectural Children's Hospital, so that they can spend time together as a family during and between treatments.

Cancer treatment can last from several months to a year. During that time, families are separated and have little time to see siblings or friends. Parents have to lead double lives, caring for their child undergoing treatment and for the siblings and family they have left behind at home, which causes mental anxiety and a heavy financial burden, including transportation and living expenses from far away. CCH helps these families stay together and stay strong throughout the treatment journey.  (CCH Official Website)
